I have 5:1 on my Mega, with a comparable sized main. I race on a 35 and it has 6:1 - a triple on the boom and a double w becket on top of a ratchet and cleat on the traveller. We blew a sheave one day and dropped to 5:1. Not nearly so manageable. Jon Tebbens 78 Mega Katherine
