Baca County:
--An Indigo Bunting was reported by Leatherman at the Carrizo Canyon Picnic 
Area on June 18.
 
Boulder County:
--Broad-winged Hawks were reported by Nunes on the DFO Peak-to-Peak field trip 
flying over the Brainard Lake area on June 19.
--A Slate-colored Fox Sparrow was reported by Nunes in a willow thicket north 
of Ward on CR 103 on June 19.  On June 22, Waltman reported multiple Fox 
Sparrows near the intersection of Hwy 72 and CR 103.
 
El Paso County:
--A White-winged Dove was reported by Chartier on June 17 flying from Village 
at Skyline on Lower Gold Camp Road to Bear Creek Park towards the dog park.
 
Garfield County:
--Purple Martins were reported by McConnell on the Flatops BBS route along 
Buford Road on June 27.
--An America Three-toed Woodpecker was reported by McConnell on Buford Road 
north of Triangle Park turn on June 27.
 
Larimer County:
--A female American Three-toed Woodpecker was reported by Percival at Upper 
Beaver Meadows in Rocky Mountain NP on June 18.
--An EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE, first reported by Leatherman at Grandview Cemetery on 
May 22 was reported again on June 23 by Leatherman moving around the cemetery 
but mostly in the SE corner and only singing sporadically.  On June 25, 
Leatherman heard the Pewee in several times in the southern half of the 
cemetery.
--The female White-winged Crossbill was reported by Leatherman at the top of a 
spruce in the east part of Section G on June 26.
 
Las Animas County:
--A singing Gray Vireo was reported by Leatherman on SR 109 at mile post 18 
north of Rd 197.6 on the east side of SR 109 on June 16.
--On June 22, Duane Nelson reported several Gray Vireos on CR 197.6 --Long 
Canyon.  

Lincoln County:
--A juv SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER was reported by Kibbe near the intersection 
of CR 43 and CR U on June 27. 
 
Logan County:
--Northern Cardinals, Red-bellied Woodpecker, and Carolina Wren were reported 
by Leukering at Tamarack Ranch SWA on CR 385 east on June 19.
 
Montezuma County:
--LUCY'S WARBLERS and Summer Tanager were reported by Beason at Yellow Jacket 
Canyon on June 26.  Beason also heard additional
LUCY'S WARBLERS downstream about one mile from Ismay Trading Post on June 26.
 
Pitkin County:
--Purple Martins were reported by McConnell in Four-Mile Park above Ski 
Sunlight on June 26

Prowers County:
--A LEAST BITTERN was reported by Leatherman on the east side of Thurston 
Reservoir on June 21.

Routt County:
--A single singing Slate-colored Fox Sparrow was reported by Dodson at Beaver 
Basin in Routt NF east of Han's Peak Village on June 19.
    
The DFO field trip for Friday, July 2, will be to Genessee Mountain Park led by 
Kathanne Lynch (303-968-4750).  Meet at 0800 -- Take exit 254 on I-70 -- meet 
in RTD parking lot for 1/2 day trip.  Picnic table for optional lunch.
 
The DFO field trip for Saturday, July 3 to Monday, July 5 will be a joint trip 
to North Park with Boulder Bird Club led by Chuck Lowrie (303-455-8417).  Meet 
at Safeway parking lot on east side of US 40 in Fraser at 0900 on Saturday 
morning (Fraser is about a 2 hour drive from Denver).  Make reservations for 
Saturday and Sunday nights in Walden at the North Park Inn (970-723-4217) or 
the Chedsey Motel (970-723-8201).  State Parks pass needed.  Call leader if 
going to arrange carpooling from Denver.  Bring water, snacks, lunch, repellent 
and clothing for variable weather.
