Hello, Birders. Just a quick reminder about the ABA/BBC/DFO/CFO/Xcel/Nikon outing to Valmont Reservoir, Boulder County, this coming Saturday, January 8th, 2011.
The outing will get under way at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the main entrance (off 63rd Street) to the Xcel/Valmont power plant. If you intend to find a parking space, it's probably a good idea to arrive by about 11:45 a.m. Additional details on the outing are available here: http://tinyurl.com/37r7cup Leaders will be Ted Floyd, Mike Freiberg, Jeff Gordon, Bill Kaempfer, Dave Madonna, Nathan Pieplow, Bill Schmoker, and Marcel Such. Looks like the weather will be nice (partly sunny with a high near 8 degrees), but do dress warmly. We're making arrangements for those Larimer County gulls to drop in at Valmont...
