The YC Night Heron was posing today on a log; the headline in the
Tribune drew a few additional birders as well.  One thing I thought
was odd was one of the cormorants drying themselves off near the YCNH,
The picture is here and the distinct white border around the throat
sac is something I'm not brave enough to claim is belongs to a
Neotropic Cormorant.

Much fun was had viewing the Heron though.
