He wrote one called The Man in the High Castle, an 
alternative history of WW2 where the bad guys win.

There's some other nifty collections of "alternative 
histories".  One is about WW2, called "Alternative 
Hitlers" or sumpink like that.  Some bizarre stuff. 
In one story, the Norse gods intervene in WW2, 
choosing sides for and against the Nazis.
