At least on lower qualities (32 kbps) Lame is significantly better
than BladeEnc. On higher qualities the difference isn't so big
anymore, maybe even irrelevant.
On the "Maz Sound Tools" (http://www.maz-sound.com) site Lame and
SMPX are the only freeware encoders that have earned the TOP sign...
