The project needs to be scalable. That's why my goal is to have it all as smooth as possible and as easy to self-study and self-discover as possible - only reaching out to mentors/committers/other experienced contributors when really needed. Of course you can't do it from day 1 or even day 5, but my hope is that if we relentlessly work on it and improve it and also get a lot of feedback from people like you - we can approach this "ideal" where everything is self-explanatory and easy to follow.
