Each SQL dialect has different rules for how it implements functions. Calcite should be flexible enough to support multiple competing implementations of the same function. Just make sure you choose a clear spec from a specific dialect (even better if multiple dialects agree on the definition) and implement that. If you just want to fix this specific bug while leaving other bugs in, that's also possible, but please file an issue for the bugs that you know you won't be solving. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
