Ekaterina Dimitrova commented on CASSANDRA-16981:
-------------------------------------------------
Thank you [~mck]. Pfff those arm builds take forever on my machine but at least
everything worked. :)
Tiny Cassandra-builds patch
[here|https://github.com/ekaterinadimitrova2/cassandra-builds/commit/262fd67032e7e69a0554b4b5559ac7108a46d45d]
I pushed the image to my own docker account and tested with Circle CI
[here|https://github.com/ekaterinadimitrova2/cassandra/commit/2ca2c0c69c07656c22d6ee9d0e892f7df496ee78]
to ensure I am not making a mess.
The tests completed successfully.
On +1 I will push to the apache/cassandra-testing repo. [~mck], what account
should I use for that push?
So in my mind the commit order should be:
* push an image to docker
* update both the groovy and the circle ci config scripts
* commit the patch from this ticket
([3.11|https://github.com/ekaterinadimitrova2/cassandra/commit/14964ce868846f8a13dede060e5d2dca30211ee2]
, it will be the same for the other branches)
> Respect com.sun.management.jxmremote.host

> It seems we don't respect com.sun.management.jxmremote.host in
> [createJMXServer()|https://github.com/apache/cassandra/blob/cassandra-3.11/src/java/org/apache/cassandra/utils/JMXServerUtils.java#L64]
> The flow should be - when_ local _is true, we only bind localhost, otherwise
> we bind everything, unless com.sun.management.jmxremote.host is set, then we
> use that.
