Review Comment:
   Read-back passes here because the Spark-side `doParsePartitionColumnValues` 
handles the slash layout, but the engine-agnostic 
`PartitionPathParser#getPartitionValues` does not for a STRING partition 
column: `2026/01/05` parses to `2026`, since only time-typed fields go through 
`inferDateValue` and everything else takes `parts[0]`. Its lone consumer today 
is the bootstrap-merge read (`HoodieFileGroupReader.java:284`).
   
   Optional, nothing to change in this PR: pre-existing and untouched by this 
change -- I will file the `PartitionPathParser` follow-up if you do not pick it 
up. Recorded here for context.
