I don't understand why it pertains to bookie client metadata loss, the disabled auto-recovery and bookies unavailability. Because from my understanding, BK pursues the reading semantics of AT_LEAST ONCE, bk-client's metadata and bookie's auto-recovery are to be able to read only once as much as possible. When client's metadata lost or bookie auto-recovery disabled, bookie client may take multiple readings to read the data.
