No, I do not have very compelling reason to go directly to 2.7.1. (my cluster
is older. :)) Since you are running the 2.6.*, I would suggest to *upgrade to
2.6.0*, what do you think? Obviously, there are some difference between 2.4.0
and 2.6.0 in terms of the AM methods, should be many difference between 2.6.0
and 2.7.1.
