@DanielLeens Draft PR is available at #11538 for the agreed local-only first slice It adds --dry-run sample with a bounded row limit runs the real source and transform chain and replaces configured sinks before sink factory creation and save-mode handling The tests cover deterministic completion and confirm that the configured sink is not created or used.
