   Thanks @SEZ9. In `b3904d55`, I chose to drop the two assertions that only
rechecked the `datasource` fixture (four lines). Assertions on the resolved
connector's schema, provider fields, path behavior and precedence remain, as do
the original-config and provider-call-count assertions. No production behavior
changed.

   `mvn -o -pl seatunnel-api spotless:apply` and `git diff --check` passed. I
attempted `mvn -o -pl seatunnel-api -Dtest=MetadataProviderManagerTest verify`;
it still stops during production compilation at the unresolved
`ConfigMapPathUtils` import, before test execution. This is not a passing test
result.

   #12443 is still open, so this PR remains draft. After the prerequisite
lands, I will update the base, confirm standalone compilation, and rerun the
metadata tests and `MetalakeIT.testDataSource` in CI. The full-job round-trip
short-circuit remains a separate follow-up; I will link it here when it exists.
