Both points from your review are addressed in cae8b70: `JdbcFieldTypeUtils` is back to its `dev` version, and the binary Infinity check lives in `PostgresJdbcRowConverter` with a catch limited to `IllegalArgumentException` plus a positive check of the 8-byte header (details in the inline replies). Build is green on that head and the branch merges cleanly with current `dev`. Could you take another look when you have time, and remove the `don't merge` label if it is no longer needed?
