Thanks @vinishjail97. I've backed the default flip out of this PR (d1cd3a7), so it now lands just the Kernel coverage, the fail-fast guard and the truncation test, with Standalone as the default everywhere again. I've also filled in the PR description. CI is green. That also settles the two remaining inline comments. The DELTA cases in the matrix are no longer pinned, and the CLI, service and Hudi sync tool all share the same default again. I'll open the flip as a follow-up once both cases you found pass an IT: the unchanged resync of a Standalone-written table, and transform partitions hitting generatedColumns.
