bq. +1 on the idea, it might make sense to separate the patch to facilitate the
reviews.
I was planning on breaking this up into 6:
* hadoop-common (core)
* hadoop-tools
* hadoop-yarn
* hadoop-hdfs
* hadoop-mapreduce
* any stragglers
I'm concerned that if this is broken up any more, then they won't get reviewed.
Smaller patches get almost zero traction.
