We've had this debate before :) Can we just stick to what we have
please? and change it when get shoot for 1.5/2.0?

The maven naming  convention[1] requires a groupId which mimics the package
name. Therefore I believe that org.apache.axiom would be more appropriate
since it mimics the actual axiom package name ( org.apache.axiom.*)
