Isn't it a idea to have the anti vandal bot running the recent changes but also use Flagged revisions on only the File space. We have a terrible lot of files (thats a good thing) and I believe not so many people patrolling the recent changes. While I have seen three complaints about vandalism that was there for more than 3 days this month.
