this is a newbie question, probably covered repeaatedly, but i've been on
the net for two days straight trying to solve various problems with no luck
so if anyone can advise me i'd be very grateful!

i have
a PC connected to the net with zip drive
an Apple Cube (no floppy drive) connected to the net with zip drive
a mac SE 4/20 800k floppy drive system 6.0.3

the simplest way to get stuff onto the computer without buying more
hardware would be

format a HD disk as an 800k by sticky taping the hole.
get the pc to read and write to this disk in such a way that it will still
be readable on the SE.

i found a program called HFSUTILS that says it can do old superdrive
disks, but i'd have to test it to see if it worked for 800k disks too. -
it's a really complicated program, MS-DOS mode, kind of scary to me, don't
know where to start really. so if anyone has tried it and can help me (do
the disks work with 800k drives?)

another question - one tutorial said you could connect a zip drive to the
SE - my question is, where do you get drivers for system 6 to recognise the
zip drive?? (i'll still need another method to get the drivers onto the
computer too)

i'm sorry, so many questions, and probably more to come. i'm just sick of
getting nowhere with this thing!
