If I remember right, the SE has a SCSI interface, so your ZIP would have to
be a SCSI unit.
To solve your problem I would advise you to buy an external CD-ROM drive for
your SE (you will notice a good difference on installing the OS) and get a
CD-RW for your cube (make it a USB unit so you can use it with the PC as
well) then record all the data to get transfered on CD.
Or
Buy a network card for your SE. (if that is possible)
Here I have a Color Classic at home with CD and network and it is a very
useful machine. I was even runing MS IE 3 on it today and wondering how
Netscape 2 can be so slow on the same hardware.
Now, serious: I got my network card (PDS Slot) for about US$ 20. It was the
best spent money on my CC as it now communicates with my NT and Linux boxes
and prints to my US$ 100 printer like it was a US$ 10,000 Color PostScript
printer. I know the SE doesn't have this same slot, but I would expect
network connectivity to be about the same price for both
