Stock Quantum drives usually clock about 4.5-5MB/s in a PPC Mac or a Quadra. I know for a fact the 512MB Quantum I have in my SE/30 was OK in an LC475 but is very tardy in athe SE/3- but a definite improvement on the 80MB Quantum that was originally in it. -- -- Mark Benson Any spelling errors are attributed to PEBKAC SilValleyPirate - AIM silicon_valley_pirate_uk - Yahoo!
