Anything SCSI works in theory but in practise it ain't quite that
simple on an SE/30. I tried to use a 1GB IBM 68-pin drive in my SE/30
w/20MB RAM and a 50MHZ Daystar accelerator and it seeems it took too
long to spin up (it's a 5400rpm) for the SE/30's patience and the
SE/30 didn't recognise it. I think it's probably safer to stick to
'normal' speed 50-pin drives that have a relatively fast spin-up
cycle. Either that or put 128MB RAM in the SE/30 to give it more time
before it tries to boot.
