OMG!! Wow. I have the bag and the k/b and the mouse but my lot ain't pristine, it has a 50MHz Daystar accelerator and 20MB RAM though so frankly I don't give a damn, it looks like the old war-horse that it is :). Lucky you :). >Powered it up at home, PRAM battery still good, reports System 7.1 and 5 >meg of RAM with a 60mb HD. Cool. Needs a bit of beefing up as regards RAM and HD but it looks like a tidy machine :). >Opened it up; found just a little dust. No place to plug >in the LED for the drive light. Wierd. Must have been in a 3.5" PC drive bay or something. Is it still in the SE/30 steel carrier? >All RAM slots are full. Why does it report 5mb? 4x1MB + 4x256kb :). >From which Mac can I "borrow" an ethernet card to connect this machine to >my network? The IIsi has a "two-part" card with connecting cable, but is >it compatible? AS far as I know the answer is yes, as long as, if it has an FPU socket, there is no FPU on it, if there is you will have to ping it out before you put it in the SE/30. Someone correct me if I'm wrong before this guy blows up his new SE/30 ;). SE/30 SE/30 SE/30 SE/30 SE/30 SE/30 SE/30 SE/30 SE/30 SE/30 SE/30 SE/30 and one last time SE/30 Read the front of the case - it has a slash not a dash ;) - Very VERY sorry I'm feeling VERY picky tonight LOL. -- -- Mark Benson Any spelling errors are attributed to PEBKAC Vintage Macs List Nanny SilValleyPirate - AIM silicon_valley_pirate_uk - Yahoo!
