I have Aladdin Spring Cleaning 3.5, a Classic application that does a
number of things to free up hard disk space. It looks for browser cache
files, duplicate files, etc. including "Fat" binary programs (those
designed to run on both 68k and PPC machines). For a few years after the
introduction of the Power Macintosh, many programs were written in Fat
binary so they'd be compatible with both. However, since you only need
one of the sets of programming, you can "trim the fat" by removing the
PPC or 68k specific code that isn't needed for your computer. Spring
Cleaning does that, and each application it trims has the word "trimmed"
after it once you've done it.

I got Spring Cleaning 3.5 a few years ago, so it has probably been
around for quite a while. I don't think it's around any more.
