I've refilled all three of my Canon BC-02 cartridge-using Stylewriter-type printers using $15 refill kits. I find them very workable and very cut-rate cost-wise over new carts. They last for about five refills, and I'm saving money doing it. JEff>> I have had less success refilling the BC-02 cartridges. If you don't refill them before the sponge inside the cart goes dry, it probably won't work. I usually find that a new cart costs $20 or so, though you may be able to find a deal somewhere. Works well with my Stylewriter II, but ...yes... the ink runs out too darn soon. In my SW2400(found in thrift store for $10, with even some ink left in it), the replacement tanks to put into the printhead cart are considerably cheaper, and I've found generic tanks in Staples and other places. Once you get ink working in your printer, I suggest you be sure to use it at least once a week to "keep the juices flowing" so that it will not dry up and/or encrust the cart's print head.
