You have to feed the sheets one at a time (unless you have the rare sheet 
feeder option). There is a large switch next to the turning wheel that 
selects friction or pin feed paper. Placing a sheet in the back and 
pressing form feed positions it at top of page. Often I press line feed 
once or twice to move down into the page a bit. Then press Select to 
enable printing.

You can get a lot of pin feed paper and a couple of ribbons for the cost 
of one new ink jet cartridge. But the ink jets print better and are more 
convenient to use. The StyleWriter II and 1200 models are less 
troublesome than the original StyleWriter.
