Ken, Not sure about the processor side of things (I guess mp3 might be number crunching so a maths coprocessor might help) but if you feel a little adventurous you can try this for stereo...

Very dodgy of apple not to just produce the CC with stereo seeing as though there is space for the second speaker and the analogue board has all the tracks for stereo.
