Or cur down a 575 a/b and put it in there. You'd need to modify the 
connector system for the speakers, but it might be simpler than trying 
to source the individual components.

For the original modification, Alexey Danilchenko did the earlier 
research, described at
http://www.stuartbell.dsl.pipex.com/PowerCC/CompendS.html .  It misses 
the component values which Chris ascertained, but does have some nice 
photos.
