Yeah, here's another area where you'll need to play around. The flow
settings can be cts or dts or cts/dts; x-on,x-off, handshake.....etc.

The modem responds to one of them, and you need to discover which by simply
opening the PPP panel, adjusting the settings and trying to dial-up without
starting an email or browser application.

Of course, Open Transport 1 is the answer, as it has pre-set inits and you
just pick the modem from a list. But, it won't work on every OS. Therein
lies that dilemma.
