As with advice to discharge CRTs, this is advice proper "to an extent". Yeah, I suppose you can get at crossed swords with your ISP; maybe not. I've set up a Color Classic "Mystic" with a 350 MB hard drive in another family member's closet some forty miles from me.
I used to run the Classic Server Project on a dial-up connection, four to six hours each month, with the URL posted right here. My ISP never complained, and I doubt ever noticed.
