Hello everyone! I finally obtained a Macintosh 128k machine with the original system disk and Mac Paint, Mac Write and Macintosh Intro disks. And they work!
I do realize that at some point they're going to be unreadable. It's amazing that they even work now, for that matter. I really don't want to loose the original software. So I ask... Is there a way to make backup copies? I don't know of any source for new 400k disks and didn't think that an 800k disk could be made to work. Is there any way to help prevent a disk from 'going bad?' Any help is much appreciated... -Chris K. -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
