hello folks,

i have 4 30-pin SIMMS labelled 8MB, and i can't seem to get them to work
in my SE/30. is there something special i need to do? are these SIMMS
perhaps incompatible with the SE/30?

they each have 5 chips on them:
        4 24pin DIPs, labelled:
                TI -60
                TMS417400ADJ
                PE 85ACV7 P
        1 20pin QUAD package, labelled:
                PALCE16V8H
                -10JC/4
                87F5180
                318STXV F

the PCB is silk-screened with:
        Transcend
        4/8M 8470
        9818
        0003
        94V-0

and a sticker on the front:
        8MB

and on the back
        AZen
        A880030
        8SIM-8T8-8
        8MB*SIM*8X8-8 07847

ok, that's a lot of info, but i hope someone can tell me where i'm going
wrong...

jj
