well, this is strange: the 4 8MB SIMMS by themselves don't work. the 4 8MB SIMMS in slot pairs 1 and 2, with my 4 4MB SIMMS in slot pairs 3 and 4, don't work. BUT the 4 4MB SIMMS in slot pairs 1 and 2, with the 4 8MB SIMMS in slot pairs 3 and 4 DO WORK! BUT, the system only reports 32MB! so the 4 8MB SIMMS are seen as 4x4MB! how come? also, i notice that with only 16MB installed, the system uses over 10MB. but with 32MB, the system reports using over 26MB. what gives?
