SE/30 would work in an SE; the expansion slots are different.
There are no distinguishing marks on the card. Opening an SE of mine, I discovered the slot in side it is a different length. I'll retract that statement in the auction.
The SE/30 - SE PDS issue came up in an auction on ebay.co.uk recently: I challenged a seller who said his card would work in either, and he stuck to his guns, so I did a search for the two sets of pin-outs:
Comparing
http://www.biwa.ne.jp/~shamada/fullmac/se30pdsEng.html
with
http://home.tiscali.dk/cadams/se/pinouts.html
shows that they are _totally_ different, and the SE's 96 pins don't even map to the first 96 of the SE/30's 120 pins These two URLs might come in useful in future 'discussions'!
