Maybe this will help you...
I downloaded the 19 disks of 7.5.3 from Apple's FTP last year,
and I've installed them successfully, albeit on a Basilisk II
emulator. Still have them on my HDD.
The first file is named System_7.5.3_01of19.smi.bin and takes up
1,425,664 bytes of disk space. The next files are named
System_7.5.3_XXof19.part.bin and take up 1,206,656 bytes each,
with the exception of the last file, which is sized at 824,832 bytes.
The MD5 hash of the first file is 4C5353E13E700020369B2ED790AE6BB2
and the CRC of it is 0CF98331.
You can use the above information to verify if the first file
is indeed damaged. If you need any of those files, contact me
privately.
Good luck,
Marcin Wichary
