I have three problems, no idea whether they are linked or not:
(1) the internal clock has stopped; battery renewal didn't help.
(2) some control panels are out of order (e.g. 12 or 24 hour time indication
selector, warning sounds selector...)
(3) start-up sound is dead; as a result of a gradual process of continually
weakening sound volume.

Could this be due to faulty connections or soldering? Any particular section
of the logic board which should be looked at more closely?
The Classic has been unplugged for over a fortnight now. Am I correct to
assume that any risk of shock from the CRT has gone by now?
Thanks a lot.
Jan
