Because of the high sucess rates, I'm suggesting you pull the mother board
and toss it in a dishwashing machine. When dry, it may regain some of the
lost properties.

Others have said that pulling the motherboard and swabbing it with isopropyl
alcohol does it as well.

Thanks to a very dear friend, whom I haven't seen return to this list, I
have two Classic motherboards. My thing is to replace. But that's because I
don't have time to trace and resolder and replace individual parts.
