I have three problems, no idea whether they are linked or not: (1) the internal clock has stopped; battery renewal didn't help. (2) some control panels are out of order (e.g. 12 or 24 hour time indication
These first two problems certainly sound linked. When you say battery renewal, I am uncertain if you main battery replacement. A fresh, new PRAM battery may solve these problems. Attempting to recharge an old battery may not.
