you could also just register a routers MAC address, and NAT your network so that its semi-invisible to the outside world...

If I remember correctly, there is some way in early versions of TCP/IP to use a setting called "AppleTalk(MacIP)". I'm only suggesting if you are saying that you want to use phonenet style connecters. It seems to me though that you would be much better served by getting all of the computers ethernet equipped (possible with all the machines you have) and getting yourself a hub. I am at a college myself, and hubs work just fine with most college networks. I routinely use a PowerBook 1400cs along with my new iMac here on the network. If you have to "register" your computer's MAC address with the campus though, you will probably have to register each computer individually to get them all online. If not, you should just be good to go as is!

Hi all,

I have an SE/30, Color Classic and Mac TV that I would like to network
together and ideally get to share an internet connection. I have a
PowerMac 6500/275 with a high speed Ethernet connection that I can
contribute to the network to act as a "server" if needed.

How can I set this network up so that the compacts can share the Internet
conenction? (If possible)

Thanks a lot!

Matt
