After some replies I realized that I was using some confusing terminology here.
I would like to connect these Macs together using Phonenet (not Ethernet). Is it possible to Have the 6500 with an Ethernet connection providing the compact Macs internet access via the serial/modem ports? I was looking to use the modem port for simplicity (despite speed limitations) and I would like to enable AppleTalk as well but I will take any connectivity I can get. Thanks!
