$20?  The most expensive I have seen them in this area is $9-$11.  I don't
remember how much they were at Radio Shack, but I don't think it was more
than $11.  I bought a new one at a battery outlet store in my area for $7
or $8 a few months ago for my Classic II.

The 1/2 AA 3.6volt seems to be a pretty common size.
