There was a VGA version of the Lapis card for the Plus. It would be interesting if the FPD can be converted to the VGA version. In appearance there doesn't appear to be a lot of difference other than the connector and maybe a resistor or two. However, the Lapis cards are built on a big FPGA or maybe CPLD and it is possible that the programming for the FPD version of the card has different programming for the FPGA than the VGA versino of the card. Either way you still wouldn't get color. The Plus just doesn't support color in its ROMs AFAIK. Seems like Lapis had some kind of SCSI port connected apparatus that would get color out of the SE though. I don't know how that could possibly work, as there's not much difference between an SE and a Plus. Jeff Walther -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
