I've got a problem child with an SE/30 that I can't get to open easily. Frankly with those old drives, I'm assuming that slapping to too much might bounce the heads on the HDD.

Place the Torx driver in that screw's slot and tap on the end. This cracks the top of the case. Pushing on the SCSI connector with a thumb while pulling the bottom of the case will crack the bottom.
