I'm about to receive a Daystar 040 and I *do* now have the
Daystar SE/30 PDS adapter. However, for this to plug into
the Asante Maccon ethernet, I believe I want the 120-pin
right-angle adapter that Gamba sells for $2 or so.

Alas, mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] bounces with
   'This mailbox is full'
Is he still around? An alternate address?
Does anybody have one of these 120-pin right-angle adapters
they'd care throw in the mail to me?

Luke

ps. the Daystar adapter has a MC74ACT86N and a PAL16L8D/2PC

There is an active device (or two) on the adapter. It is a PAL or
PLD or some variety of programmable logic device. I have the
adapter for the IIsi but I discussed this in email with Gamba before
he disappeared and the SE/30 adapter also has one or two.

The IIci and SE/30 PDS slots are wired a little differently. Hence
the adapter is a necessity. "Designing Cards and Drivers for the
Macintosh" has the respective pinouts listed in it.

Some day I would like to take a 5V source, some switches and some
LEDs to that PAL and see if I can determine its logical content.
But I'm back in school for a semester and taking four labs, so that
day won't be this semester.
