Well really - if you think for a moment about it, the SE/30 to a junkie or a dunderheaded theif looks kinda like an original Mac. Original Macs in good condition can fetch a bit of cash as collectables, as we all know. Maybe they put 2 + 2 together and got 5.


Also people do run 'steal to order' rings that go around swiping some weird stuff for people who won't pay top dollar for it. Why anyone would pay a theif $10 ti steal a computer they could buy in Goodwill for, well $10, dunno, as I said they do weird things...

On a lighter note, 2 guys stole a van from outside and undertakers in the UK this week. The van was later found unharmed, and a note appologising for stealing it along with the original keys was received by the undertaker the next day. Man i'd like to have seen their faces.... :)
