Yes, I'm a "Wintel folk" ;-) . I have used RawWrite, RawWriteWin and dd many times to create boot disks for different OSes (not only MacOS, but also DOS, NT and Linux) without problem: that's where my idea came from. Without knowing OS X, I'd say dd should work with any disk drive. If that's true, then you only have to follow the Windows instructions and replace RawWrite or RawWriteWin with dd. Of course, if you have "compressed" disk images, you must convert them to an uncompressed raw format (exactly 1440 Kb in size) before writting them to disk.
