I want to enable TCP/IP. But yeah, I have enabled AppleTalk on the G5. :)

Dumb question: did you enable classic networking on the G5? ISTR that's the catch in some of these situations. I'm still on 9.2.2 on the G4, but I follow the discussions closely. I think Marten has something on his site about it:
