My point exactly. It's very cool, but it is just a box (despite the fact
that I have mini envy). The interface (screen, keyboard, mouse)is elsewhere
-- to liken it to other "appliances" imagine a coffemaker where the
pot/grounds are in one place, with wires that run down the counter to a
control panel and still other tubes running to a water reservoir. It will
get the job done, but not as elegantly as putting all the parts together in
one place. And unlike a clunky Mr. Coffee of years past, a Krups actually
invites you to make coffee -- it's all I can do to walk past mine and not
want to brew a pot! To go one step further with this analogy, the Krups
works flawlessly, using it is intuitive, whereas I dread using a Mr. Coffee
as ground inevitably end up in the coffee, it drips coffee everywhere, the
pause and serve feature doesn't work properly, I can never find the "on"
switch -- it's a mess!
