Hmm. I've disabled OT using Extension Manager, copied in MacTCP and it works, significantly quicker, too, on downloading files - but I still have no Network control panel and my Appletalk CP now doesn't work 'cos OT isn't loaded.


Network Software Selector, as I said: located in the Apple extras folder after a standard 7.6 install, is used to select between Classic Networking and Open Transport, am I telling you something you know? I guess its available for earlier operating systems and I'll get around to testing it under OS7.1 as I dont see it installed by default on the unsupported system. OT isn't offically supported on OS7.1 is it?
